Imperial Games were looking to add a furniture piece to their private game rooms that consumers use for Board Games and TTRPGs. The requirements was for it to be coffee table sized but expand to fit four to eight people, with some storage. We included a built in touchscreen play games available on virtual board games, project maps for tabletop games, and connect with people who can't be in the room
The Design
The initial design were sketched, modeled, prototyped for the functionally, and its user experience was researched via surveys at the store, and in-person interviews with the one of TTRPG Club at Arizona State University. Its form utilized conceal hinges to hide the screen, but it also had sharp edges and hard to manufacture shapes.

The Redesign
The new design kept the hinges to slide out and reveal the screen as well as to expand the table surface space, but has a more modern look to it, a more subtle logo, and includes the connective ports and haptic buttons excluded from the first version.
