The Product:
Thatch is an audio set that allows its portable speakers to be placed anywhere in the room or be taken on the go for private listening. The portable speakers can be charged at the base where music can be shared via NFC so no one has to leave their phone on aux.

The Prototype:
To prove the functionality of this product, I worked alongside an electrical engineer to understand its components. This includes the Bluetooth chips and how they work together in sync with the home unit, the charging ports, and the NFC antenna. With this knowledge, together, we build a working prototype with a chemically bound polystyrene body and its recommended component sources.
