To verify the product's viability in concept and market, I performed a competitor analysis and patent research, analyzing 20+ related patients to ensure market novelty. I then explored local stores for component analysis and collected recall and regulatory data for the product. Finally, I constructed User Personas to understand the users' needs, goals, pain points, and behaviors to guide the industrial design process from ideation to evaluation, then added this data to a phase one deliverable document in collaboration with my fellow designers at Avail Creative.
